Paper thin walls, smoking on the non-smoking floors and management’s total non commitment to NYC non-smoking/fire safety ordinance makes for a bad combination when your neighbor decides to fill the entire floor with smoke by going through a pack every morning at 5 am. I’m a current resident on the 10th floor, multiple complaints from multiple residents have resulted in a strongly worded notice being sent out to all 10th floor residents and nothing else

The building is good in this neighborhood but the management could not be worse. I had to fight for every single thing we deserve as tenants. The management office staffs need proper training that they would know how to treat the people for whom they have a job there. They think they are doing a favor to us whereas they don't even realize the purpose of their job.

Lived here for 1 year and recently moved out. The 1 star is for the location (easy access to subway & Bronx Lebanon hospital which is great for employees) and relative amenities compared to the rest of the neighborhood (security @ front door and laundry in building). Everything else about this place is an absolute disaster. Mainly Goldfarb Properties and their unprofessional/predatory business practices. Maybe because this building is in a not-so-great neighborhood they think it's acceptable to debase & harass tenants. It took over 1 month to add my name to an existing lease. While we were waiting for them to fix everything, we received eviction/legal action notices for not paying the rent. Goldfarb promised this would be expunged but it came up on my renter's history when I applied for a new building. Service requests took forever. We had a broken kitchen drawer for 6 months before it was essentially patched up. A threatening letter was sent regarding our balcony stating our furniture/items stored there were an eyesore and in violation of our lease agreement. We literally had NOTHING on the balcony. Not a single item. I called management and they confirmed it was sent in error. The super still showed up at my door and insisted he take pictures of the balcony. That poor super, it's not his fault he works for a terrible management company. The best decision we ever made was leaving this building. If you must live in this area I suppose the Goldfarb buildings provide the best living situation. Being situated at the intersection of the Grand Concourse and 95 as it approaches the GWB is probably the worst air quality & most traffic noise in the country.
