Avoid this place at all costs. I was scheduled for a follow-up appointment today, 6/15/2021, at 12:00 PM. The office receptionist even called me to confirm my appointment, but failed to mention the doctor was not there yet. I told her I would be there for my appointment. When I arrived earlier than 12:00 PM for my appointment I was told it was required that I pay before the doctor see me, which I had no issue with, although I do not see why they charge for a follow-up appointment. At 12:15 PM, still waiting to see the doctor, I asked how much longer I would have to wait to see her, seeing as I had another appointment to be at soon. I was told that the doctor was not there yet, that she was looking for parking. I asked the receptionist when she had planned to tell me the doctor was not there yet. And with all the people in the waiting room waiting for her I wondered when I would get to see her. The receptionist apologized and said that parking was horrendous in this area. I did not see how that was my problem, when she had a waiting room full of patients, and had I not asked what the delay was, it appeared no one on staff was going to inform us the doctor was not there yet. I was then told by another person at the front desk that the doctor drives in from New Jersey. Again, I did not see this as my problem. I asked for my payment back, which they gave me and told them I would find another dermatologist. I found their customer/patient care to be most negligent.

I mentioned the scar on my navel, he advised me to use the cream without looking at the wound. After using that cream, my scars increased.

I have been going to Dermatology & Skin Surgery on Bay Parkway for quite some time. After giving them a 5 star review I am revising it to a 2 star. In my last visit I was called into to the office and waited for Dr. Friedman patiently for 55 minutes. When I exitied the office I noticed that while she kept me waiting she skipped me over and serivced at least 2 other patients who were still sitting in the reception area when I was called in for my appointment. There was a Russian gentleman who was still filling out paperwork, and an a woman when I was called into see the Dr. and they were both seen prior to myself. I was a good patient never late for my appointents and my time is important to me. I didn't say anything but I did not apprecitate the longer wait and the fact your assistant called me in for my appointment and then you saw at least 2 other patients who had appointments and arrived later than I. It is not the first time this had happend and I was kept waiting longer than expected. So that you know, because of this reucrring matter I decieded to change my dermatologist and moved to another local Dermatology Specialist office in the area.
