Update - 9 Months Later: I visited again recently, and the treasurer's office has been slightly improved since my last review. There could still be better signs clearly displayed to make the whole experience easier, but they did have someone directing folks where to go and it was a lot less stressful than before. Original review (9 months ago): Probably one of the worst setups for a treasurer's office I have ever seen. For anyone trying to do anything with the treasurer, you have to sign up on this kiosk in the center of the front area that has no signage anywhere. They huddle everyone without seating at the front (no facemask enforced here, so crazies will be happy). After signing into the kiosk, you have to wait until they call your name. Beware though - the system is clunky as hell and your name might not appear on the list. You will have to put your name in again if it doesn't appear. Good luck. This was worse than going to the DMV somehow.

Super slow. Chaotic. Waited for two hours in a crowded space. Computers went down once, but they fixed them within 10minutes. It only took 5 minutes at the window when it was finally my turn. If it’s not a new vehicle you should definitely renew online. There was no line for the real estate window.

Proof of Insurance & Pink slip( state vehicle registration)...
You will need to renew the registration of the vehicle you are keeping. For the car you are selling, whether you need to renew the registration will depend on the timing of the sale and when the vehicle is due for renewal. For specifics, please call our office at 402-593-2148. Make sure you get a bill-of-sale either way.
We do not handle any drivers licensing at the Treasurer's Office. That is all handled by the State DMV, and they have their own drivers licensing office. Their office in Sarpy is located at 4502 Maass Road in Bellevue. According to their website (https://dmv.nebraska.gov/locations/sarpy-county) they do offer CDL Skills Tests, which require appointments. You call 402-471-7983 for appointment information.
If your in line when the doors close at 5 you will still be seen. I just did the same thing on Monday.
That's handled by the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office.
