Problem is with this dysfunctional office not the Doctor. They never pick up the phone and the worst part is they never fax over documentation for referrals to other doctors as well as prescriptions are not sent to pharmacies and to top it off won’t direct you where to get blood work or flu shot after blood work. It’s like go figure it out for yourself. If my trusted physician was not part of this group I would not enter this facility

I had a really excellent Dr there. However when Mt. Sinai took over, things began to change. In the last seven or so years, you couldn't get appointments, their staff at some points were either misinformed or made decisions on what a doctor should call, not a front desk receptionist; the one time I had a true health concern, the doctor didn't call me back for 5 days. They don't call with results and the last straw was when they charged me to speak to the Dr when I wanted to go over my blood results on my own. I'm a pretty easy patient, don't ask much...just a little courtesy and thoroughness. It's truly a shame because management ruined that practice.

First for myself, I had a bad infection on my leg and called to see if they could fit me in a doctors schedule. I was told they give me call which I never received. After 3 days of waiting I went to the ER. 2nd my mom has been a going here for over 3 years. So she has a regular doctor whose name I wont say. My mom who is 71 caught covid and called the doctor. Instead of recommending she go to the hospital for treatment she just sent pills! 1 week later my ended up on life support. I sent the Doctor my fmla forms and she gave a problem in completing them! Stating she needed my mom to say if she wanted me to take time off to care for her!!?? How can she asks someone who cant speak. The Doctor lacks intelligence!! And she was too lazy to call the hospital to confirm the condition. The doctors there do not care about their patients! RUN!

Dr. Penstein Hirt is an incredible doctor. She was so unbelievably kind and forthright with advice for me. She listened to my concerns and questions and really prioritized me throughout the appointment. Her exam was very thorough! It is a little difficult getting an appointment with her on short notice, but in my opinion, she's worth it!
