My own experience with The summit has been terrible ! Pre pandemic the staff in the office are purely condescending and they seem to always have an attitude when you walked in. My issue has always been with how unwelcoming they were! The maintenance staff however always seemed to be great! That was the only plus! The security guards at the desk would always be so noisy and up in your business of who you signed in to take into your apartment! That you pay for over 3k a month! Talk about no privacy! They always are surrounded by a group of people not even paying attention. There’s no sense of freedom living here and the amenities did not live up to my expectations. You only ever saw your RA once. Also, there was one time (per-pandemic) I wanted to makes some copies before they added that new computer room, and one of the workers gave me a snarky response about not being able to print. He said “ You will not be able to print the printer is jammed it’s not gonna happen” talk about rude response! The apartment itself just were beaten and you’d get this foul odor through the halls, of weed and cigarettes. There used to be excess garbage throughout the halls! Even when you were paired with a roommate they did not accommodate to the application for roommates, you were just put with random people who most likely would be the opposite of what you requested on your application. There’s no entrance through the side of reeves Ave usually it’s locked after midnight or the security at the front would give you trouble for walking in. For the price you pay the summit is not worth it! So beware honestly just commute or look off campus.

Writing this review because I almost forgot how much I hate the Summit until they asked if I will be dorming Spring 2021! NO!!! As other reviews state the office is constantly condescending and it only got worse with COVID. I lost thousands of dollars worth of personal, sentimental items when they crammed them in old cardboard boxes to kick us out short notice. I was then banned from picking up my items unless I specifically answered their calls and emails with notices AS SHORT AS TWO HOURS before it wouldn't count and they would get rid of my stuff. When I finally picked it up, the boxes were crushed, smashed, my things fallen out everywhere, my mirror of jewelry MISSING etc. They were always incompetent so I'm not surprised. When one roommates boyfriend threatened to kill my other roommate for asking him to be quiet, while the RA's came to remove him, one told the office they "didn't hear that" while the other said "what- he said it right in front of you." Luckily, it only took a few death threats to get rid of that issue. DON'T DORM HERE. COMMUTE AT ALL COSTS. IF YOU LIVE HERE, GOOD LUCK!

My apartment had a foul odor that I couldn’t get rid of. I thoroughly cleaned every room & it still had that funky smell. I blame this on the carpet that takes up 90% of the apartment. The day I moved in I found hair pins, strands of hair, dirt, & small little dead bugs on the floor. The sink & microwave hadn’t been cleaned & still had some scraps of food inside. The entire fridge smelled HORRIBLE. There was still hair in the faucet & drain in the bathroom. There was no kitchen trash can so I had to supply my own...I would’ve thought with a full kitchen it would come with a trash can...? Even though most of these issues were solved by thoroughly cleaning, the foul odor coming from the carpet & refrigerator was enough to send me packing. There is absolutely nothing around the summit. To get to the train it’s a 10 min walk to the bus plus the 20 min bus ride. I always had to make sure I was back before 7 because it’s pitch black in & around campus & I don’t want to get kidnapped. There’s nothing to do outside the summit unless you have a car & $300 for parking or are willing to put up with the bus rides. Because of covid, each person was given a scheduled date & time to move in. On my scheduled date at 10am, just 3 hours prior to when I was supposed to be there, I get a voicemail saying someone on campus tested positive & they will be postponing my move in until further notice. I understand wanting to limit the people exposed to this individual & the virus, but don’t tell me last minute???? I had no idea when I’d be able to move in. It was completely unprofessional & inconsiderate. I had pretty high expectations for the summit from their videos and website. However, I moved back home after a week because these were conditions I couldn’t see improving & simply don’t want to live in. I wish I knew what I was getting myself into because I would’ve stayed far away. The summit is over $2,000 a month....you’re better off getting a studio nearby because that price is ridiculous. Please just save your money and go elsewhere.

It is 6480 Kissena blvd and normally the mailbox # but if you don't know it you can leave it out. You pick up large packages from the office anyway.
