Never go to the holiday Inn 217 north st marys street in San Antonio TX. Do not book though i h g they are a joke . Food on the floor love set no sheets and food crumble on it . I book over 3 months ago though ihg free parking . Saw the reviews same thing ,then so much more corporate of a week ago was to call me still waiting call today as usual on hold then disconnected. Stay at the Hilton palacio del rio at 200 south almo street. For 400 dollars move with river view patio out side looking down.

Arrived in my room to find that this room was occupied with guest! I could have been killed! Then, after taking my money, they told me they were sold out, and had me leave. I had no more money for another hotel stay, and had to sleep in my work van in a vacant lot. I have reached out to retain legal counsel, and plan to sue for putting me in harms way, taking my money and telling me they couldn’t help me. This is going to get expensive for IHG!

I quit managing hotels for this company because the systems they have in place are horrible. They are so out of touch with property managers, they no clue how bad it is. Horrible at Technology. Opera Reservation System - outdated, has a lot of bugs, difficult to train new hires with, constantly out of sync with Holidex and overbooks your hotel repeatedly, calling Opera Support takes you through 7 ridiculous prompts before you reach someone, Opera Support always has long wait time because it's an inferior system that hotels have constant problems with and overwhelm support line. Makes it a nightmare to run a hotel.

Disappointed they would not do anything about a manager of Holiday Inn Tampa airport charging me $250 I do not owe. The manager took advantage of a disabled person. He was rude and condescending to me with no repercussions for his attack on me.
