Mr. Hunt is very personable and kind. He was thorough with his explanation of the appraisal process as well as his overall knowledge of diamonds. Most importantly, I appreciated that my ring never left my sight, I didn’t have to leave it and the diamonds never had to be removed. Hello, Thanks for getting in touch with me. Written appraisal fees are priced upon complexity. The average written appraisal fee is $195.00 per item. The lowest fee is $125.00 per item for simple items and can rise to $500.00 and more per item for complex items, like Rolex watches that contain 2,000 diamonds. All appraisals are by appointment only and you get to sit with me in my gem lab and watch your item being appraised, and then take it home with you when the appraisal is over.
