My mother had Blue Cross Blue shield in Virginia and far as I know they did her well off. Sorry to say this but I think it has something to do with the state and the people that each company hire. I was looking on here too try to start a plan with Blue Cross Blue shield but unfortunately I would but just not in the state of Georgia the state seems like it has a lot of lazy unprofessional people here.

Lucky I gave one star as this is the worst place.I worked for the company and definitely not professional in anyway. The pretend to support and help their employees that’s the biggest joke I heard of. The training has absolutely nothing to do with the job you’re supposed to do. And as far as teamwork, I believe you need to know what it actually means. As an employee you get no help with anything if you ask. This is the worst business ever I have worked for due to lack of experience within management. And they watch you more than the government does.

Disgusted with the automated system. When reaching a providers line, they send you through a maze of automated answers in which if you fail to answer correctly within 3 tries you will be disconnected. When asking for an operator, the computer ASSumes that without members ID you are not worth helping or talking with an operator. Its insulting and dishonest how this company allows this to happen. And when you do reach a person you're so angry that you lash out on them. Fix your automated system and you might become a 3.

Technically, whether it's BCBS of Georgia or any other carrier, coverage usually begins whenever your husband becomes eligible to participate in his employer's health benefits plan (day 1, after 30 days, etc.) You'll also need to contact the Health Care Marketplace to let them know about the change if that's how you're currently enrolled.
Dont make that mistake
