I don't know if the Homeless Alliance takes clothing. You might call them to see. I do know that Sister BJ's Pantry takes clothing donations for their clothes closet. Google them for street address. It is either Sr BJ's or Sister BJ's. Hours are 6:30 - 8:00 AM on Fridays and 7;30 - 9:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Good luck, God bless your efforts to help the less fortunate.
Cathy - wow, honestly, I don't know how it was back then but currently they are your best bet for assistance. You can also check info at the new salvation army on nw 10th & penn.
This is a day shelter for the homeless. They serve hot meals, try to hook up those needing medical, provide the use of computers to apply for work, etc.
Travelers Aid , Guild of St George and Upward Transitions can with bus passes, and travel but from the bus station you're on your own.
We picked out the apartment
I am transgender when I ended up homeless the street folk I met embraced with open arms , when I walked into the alliance they said honey your a 63 yr old in a skirt living under a bridge we got to get you an apt. In all actuality I was never so safe in my life as when those wonderful homeless individuals helped me like family.
Yes. They help you apply for housing as well.
You can go to the Goodwill on Reno & Blackwelder. Go into the front office where the Jobs center is. Just ask the lady at the desk for a bus pass. You can also get them @ the Day Center, but you'll have to volunteer. Guild of St. George has them on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. They open @ 9am. I think David is talking about Guild of St. George.
If your dog is like your child in your heart do you need to do to stay with her
Go and ask to talk to Tom he is the director of that place
The Day Center does have some programs for people. The Day Center is open from 6am to 4pm Monday thru Friday.
There is a school for homeless children called positive tomorrows it awesome, my kids use to go there. You can also stay at a shelter and schools will come pick them up from the shelter

Lunch and a place to get out of the weather.
It is funded by generous donations from the public and possibly some grants, you may probably contact the office of the founder and Homeless Alliance board director Mr. Dan Straughn
City Rescue Mission. Jesus house helps only men mainly
No this a day Shelter only. Try the salvation army. If you have proof your married. I believe they let you room together. Most shelters get donation's from religious association. So you have to be legally married. Sorry. But also check with the homeless alliance. They may be able to find you permeant are at least temporary housing together. Check everywhere ok.
Some shelters require You to only stand in line at the shelter, some require You pay at least ten dollars a night after 7 free nights. In Oklahoma city the night shelter You stand in line at the light pole until 6p. Then sign up, and they let you in to get a bed at 8p. Once you go through that process, you automatically go in at 6p, as long you reserved your bed in the morning.
Not sure but you can call 9 to 4. M to F.
Mail is held for 30 days before returned and even if kicked out you are still allowed to get your mail.
It's a day shelter.
They won't allow people to park on property but there are other places that you can park.

No the Homeless Alliance is closed today but they had a Thanksgiving lunch yesterday.
9am to 11am and 1pm to 3pm. We provide soap and towels.
It's more like an information center, they help you find shelter, clothes, food, your mail, a shower. Assist you in applying for SSI, getting a driver's license or state ID. I believe they can also help you find jobs.
The homeless alliance should be able to give you a list of womans shelters & that's a good place to start. They have alot of resources available with no cost to you.
They can help you get housing,. Couple's usually get a good chance... Do you have children?
Try the homeless alliance - they can help you with just about anything! Doing laundry, getting your I. D., Filing for SSI, providing a mailbox, taking a shower, they are very helpful.
For a male sex offender you could try Hand Up ministry. It's a program for recently released felons. It's not a shelter and it's not a free ride. They will help you find work and get to and from work but they also expect you to pay program fees and to attend program functions(religious based). Good luck finding shelter. God bless.
They helped put me and my kids in a place in January. Try neighborhood family services.
City rescue will house both men and women if you have a marriage license
Yes But you must come into the Dayshelter to check your mail you cannot check over the phone
It is exceptable to be sober or be willing to incorporate a recovery plan during your stay.
Not at the Homeless Alliance. If you have a motel room you really don't need the services this facility offers.
No
Try Northcare of Oklahoma or Red Rock Mental health
You can come to Homeless Alliance and sign up or you can call them.
Not sure what you are asking. If there is a special event there, ask the Alliance directly.
They will have list of the organization that do. And other information of where and when you can get help
Currently the homeless alliance does not help with bills. In the past they have had grants to help, but not currently. You can try the salvation army, local churches, and the St. Vincent DePaul society has assisted people in the past.
There are programs available for children. This is a day program only, however. They can help direct to to agencies that provide other needed services es.
They can direct you to the assistance you need

They (The homeless day shelter sever 2 meals a day. One at around 6:30 am. The other one is served at 11:15 am. They sometimes have blankets and clothing. And at the homeless alliance they worker's that help some people with housing. The day shelter and homeless alliance are right next to each other. Any library will provide computer stations, but you will need a contact number.
