I’ve been bringing all my vehicles here for several years. Great quality, honesty, and fair price! Recently I tried to change my brake pads of my MR2 Spyder, but it was very difficult. So Allen and Brad fixed the car quickly, not counting waiting for the parts.

Great place to bring your car, Brent , Allen and the rest of the staff have always treated my wife and I kind and honestly. They don’t cut corners but will always try and save you money and work with you.

Several years ago, I decided to have my vehicles maintained by the dealer even after the warranty ran out. I have two vehicles, one relatively new pickup and one 20-year-old SUV. The older one is low mileage and I like to have it as a back up or to park in multi-level parking garages. I took the SUV in for the State inspection and the dealer quoted $2,400 just to pass inspection. I told him not to bother as I didn’t want to put that kind of money into a 20-year-old vehicle. My plan was to donate it to Purple Heart (I’ve done that before – good outfit, great process). However, I wasn’t ready to replace it, so at my wife’s insistence, I took it to Lyons to see what they could do. I had used Lyons a couple times before when I couldn’t get in at the dealer or had something quick and minor. A neighbor uses Lyons exclusively. When I checked the vehicle in, I didn’t tell the guy about the dealer’s estimate. I only told him I wanted a State inspection, I didn’t want to pour a lot of cash into an older vehicle, but that I wanted it to be safe to drive. They were busy and he said he would get to it in a day or so and I told him to take his time. Cali called me a few days later and told me that it would cost $695 to get the thing inspected and on the road. I told her that I had gotten a card in the mail that said I needed the emissions check too – so she said that would be twenty dollars more. I told her to go ahead and fix it. Two days later, Cali called back and said it was ready and it would be $715.00 – I was very happy and it was then that I shared the story with her about the dealer wanting to charge me $2,400. She was pleased and said that she would see me the next day when I picked it up. Then Lyons REALLY surprised me. Cali called back. Now remember – I had just told her how happy I was to be paying $715 instead of $2,400. She told me that the mechanic had corrected the service order to indicate that the brake work was merely adjusting and not a complete replacement. I only owed them $250! That doesn’t happen by accident. I am happy to have a place where I can trust them to do what is needed for a reasonable price and not try and take advantage of everyone who walks through their door. Support honest, local business – like Lyons.

Yes, they do great quality work. I've lived here for 16 years and Lyons has been my only shop. The mechanics are up front with you on repairs and will steer you in the right direction if it's something they can't do. So far I've only had one repair issue which needed to be taken care of by the Nissan dealer.
I would call them as soon they open.
