There was a gentleman who was working the front desk when we first arrived on July 30th, please forgive me for not obtaining his name, who was very professional as well as empathetic to the situation we were coming out of with the Super 8 on Westgate in Lenexa! He guided me to speak with the next employee Jamie Hill was assisted me with matching my Best Western Rewards to my Platinum Elite status with Marriott. She was very helpful and was super attentive to assisting me to get this handled. I must say that I have never stayed at a hotel that had so many courteous employees who all want to make your experience the best it can be. Whoever hired and trained these employees is top notch because if they are a reflection of upper management then BW you have a super star or should I say a few SUPER STARS in your employment arsenal! Great job and thanks to you all!!!

Had the unfortunate pleasure of trying to resolve a situation with the GM Pam. She was immediately rude, called me names, and made me wish I’d never spent any money with Best Western. I remained calm and tried to be as polite as possible. The worst part is when I tried to talk to their corporate office about the issue nobody seemed to care how rude and unprofessional their GM is. Ended up staying at the much nicer La Quinta across the street. Better hotel and far better customer service. Their GM should be fired. I wish I had the conversation recorded, but probably wouldn’t matter as Best Western has no issues with how she talks to customers.

Shower was so cold, felt like Antarctica, room was decent I’d like something complimentary for the shower though seriously. Way to cold no water heater? If I spend $79.99 abb bc d have to get up for work at 6:30 am I need the water to wake me up! Breakfast was ok though, front desk spectacular. Natural fro very professional.

Will never stay at another Best Western or Wyndham hotel again. I made a booking error and asked about getting it corrected. I was polite, never raised my voice, never demanded anything. The GM Pam was immediately rude, short with me, called me a jerk, said I was blackmailing her, and hung up on me. I just wanted simple change made. They’re keeping my money and refusing to help. If you ever need something from this hotel they’re likely incapable of helping you. After how I was spoken to by the GM and Best Westerns refusal to do anything they have lost my business forever. I hope it was worth the $100.
