Absolutely needs to be rated as one of the worst hospitals in this state. Unfortunately, in this area it's slim pickings when it comes to hospitals, but this hospital makes the rest look like a stay at the Taj ma Hal. Worst bedside manner from everyone starting with the receptionists.

The staff have been wonderful.

I would give this hospital ZER0 stars, if giving them 1 wasn't in place to even write a review! This is the SLOWEST hospital I have ever been to IN MY LIFE! Once they finally got my husband back 2hrs later, they had him set up for all sorts of blood work ect that was not needed for his visit, took doctors about 20min to move us into a diff area/room cause how badly they messed up. This place needs to be sued and certainly needs better working staff period.

Should be 330-480- then the room number.
They are very kind, courteous, as well as, attentive with their patients.
Look up on Google , but I know it's one on Belmont Street Youngstown ohio
Call the hospital front desk
Hello, you can go to Walgreens to get your vaccines..you could get a COVID test done at the hospital or at your family doctor's office. I hope this was helpful, have a great day!
The two psychs as already stated and the IMCU, which is a stepdown unit from the ICUs
8 south is observation, 8 South Extension is the Neuro intermediate floor (stroke and seizure), and 8 west extension is med Surg oncology
There is not a hotel close to the hospital it's quite a way up Belmont Avenue and no other than taking a taxi the city bus only goes so far up Belmont unless its changed the bus company name is wrta if u want to check

Southwoods has their own MRI center on market st, across from debartlo building and also st Elizabeth hospital downtown, they do cardiac MRI
I believe St Elizabeth Youngstown hospital should be able to do one. Pls call to verify.
If a teen patient is medically stable, they will most likely be discharged to Belmont Pines if needed
Most likely hospital policy. It isn't right and needs to be changed, but so does Ohio law
Call the front desk and ask for the patient by name where you should be redirected to the floor they are on and then you can talk to their nurse or ask if you are able to come up and see them
Call the hospital and try and get to the nurse taking care of the patient
8 south is an observation floor, 8 south Extension is the Neuro intermediate floor (stroke, seizure, and those with altered mental status that are medically stable enough to not be in the ICU) and 8 west extension is med Surg oncology
7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Call the hospital and give rhe operator the patients name and ask to be connected to the nurses station of the floor they are on and they can help you.
You'll need to call the hospital and ask to be connected to the patient's floor and talk to the nurse taking care of them
Intensive care
Call the main number for the hospital
Management did not feel it was cost effective and under utilized
5 south is the spine unit, 5 south extension is inpatient rehab, and 5 west extension is ortho trauma
Monday thru Friday 7AM to 5PM 🙂
Just call the hospital and they should be able to tell you.
They have free handicapped parking at the main entrance. There is free Valet Parking at the main entrance and the ER. Both for the Main Hospital in Youngstown. Boardman does have the free Vatet Service as well.
Their is a mercy hosp on south side of youngstown, the hosp is off market street in boardman, can't miss ir, about half mile from western reserve road.
I would start by contacting your family doctor and make sure you have date, time and place for your Dr.
8 south is an observation floor, 8 south Extension is the Neuro intermediate floor (stroke, seizure, and those with altered mental status that are medically stable enough to not be in the ICU) and 8 west extension is med Surg oncology
You would need to see a doctor and if that is what you needed, he would order the tests. Our doctors are really good they will find out what is wrong with you. Good luck.
This hospital doesn't do anything for anyone. They'll do every other test in the book and then tell you they can't give you any answers and go to your doctor. Honestly don't even waste your time going here.
You can call the front desk & get it
