Out patient
Rex Muskie
Worst place ever. Had me wait hours just to find out my insurance wasn't accepted for inpatient. They took me through all this process just to tell me at the very end they don't accept my insurance to be there inpatient only out patient. So frustrated after calling ahead of time asking Al these questions instead they waste our time drove half an hour to get there just to get my time all wasted. We have better things to do with our lives.. they need to hire people to actually do there job instead of telling people the wrong information on the phone. This place was a joke. Do not even bother trying to go here it's a waste a time.

My daughter was a patient there for suicidal attempts and depression. She came home with more slices on her wrist from the masks they were given. The drs there asked her “would you like me to call your mom” when she replied “no” they just ignored it and went on about their day. She was there for 6 days and was a total different person for the worse. They did more damage to her than they did good. She was 11 at the time. This was a little Less than a year ago. I would never recommend this place

This detox facility charges $750/day if you have no insurance. I was in the cheapest unit within the hospital. If you have multiple disorders it is $1,500-$3,000/day.
Yes, I have the same insurance and they covered 5 days of detox. It's a really great insurance company, a paramount representative came to Laurelwood during my time there to ask why I was there. I asked if that was going to affect the insurance but she explained that they wanted to know how they could help me more after that or with anything else (they cover 100% of dental work). I was very impressed and totally recommend paramount advantage!
Walk ins are possible. You can also call 440--953-3000 and ask for intake and admissions. Needs ID and insurance card.
Depends on if you have insurance to leech off of
You can do a walk in admission.
Depends on the hall.
Not anymore. I believe they don't take CareSource anymore.
Yes
Yes my daughter went today 3-09-2019 and she has Caresource.
Yes they do. My son has Buckeye Insurance and has been treated here.
Inpatient no, outpatient yes
For me in the dual diagnosis unit it was co-ed.
You have to wait for her to call you because she has a pin number she has to provide in order for you to receive any sort of information. As for visiting hours, it depends on which hall she's on. If she is on one of the regular mental health halls it's probably Wednesday 6:30-7:30 and Sunday 6:30 to 7:30. There's another time on Sunday, but I forgot what it is. I hope this helps somewhat.
Yes call the front desk and they will be able to help you. You can get the number from Google
I do not know. I believe it depends on the reason of admission.
If you don't have a negative effect on the patient I would recomend visiting. It's usually a good thing for family to show support while someone is hospitalized.
They now take caresource again?
Yes. You can call before you go, speak with someone in intake and make sure your insurance is pre-approved.
I do in patient, i do think they bill you. I believe Iop is either 4 or 6 weeks. I would call them directly though.
There are groups where you learn how to cope and act and the exact steps to take in certain situations. This is the "behavioral" part of 'Windsor Laurelwood BEHAVIORAL Medicine'
This is a mental health hospital
I feel they keep longer to get more money..I mean seriously..u cant argue with a psych doctor...if they say u are nuts well ..frankly u have no protection against their say..
Call main office
