This was our first time dinning at the Roof Terrace before attending a show downstairs and I would have to say we really enjoyed our visit. This is the perfect place for a nice romantic dinner date the ambiance and views are absolutely amazing and the foods not bad either🤣🤣🤣 Although it was a little pricey it was still worth the price of admission. I was told that their Sunday brunch is amazing and I can’t wait to experience that next. So once again if your looking to enjoy a nice dinner and a show at The Kennedy Center the Roof Terrace is the spot!!

Our waiter was extremely rude and curt with us...not to mention the mediocre/overpriced food that was served cold. I will never dine there again..other than that; Hamilton was outstanding!

I concur with Karen. As well as the culinary maturity of the 11 Y O, the menu selections may not be kid friendly. Its been a while but I recall Kennedy Center has a decent cafeteria style restaurant, where options may be varied. But please confirm website.

I wore dress pants and a dress shirt. Others were much more dressed.
I had a solid steak and potatoes dish my last time there. Very delicious!
When are you attempting to call? They might not have staff to cover the phones outside of restaurant hours. Not ideal, I'll admit, but that might be the reason.
There is a (VERY small, but nice) Bar, and people do eat there...maybe 3 tables. But think it is first come/first serve for those who have no reservations. Can be very crowded with those who are waiting to keep their reservation. Check with Kennedy Center Info office/line re Bistro.
