We used Sloppy Mama's BBQ catering last weekend for a large event. The food was outstanding - we got rave reviews from all our guests. The service/delivery for the catering was on time, friendly and very helpful getting things set up. Five stars - will definitely return!

The food is pretty good, but overall the ribs and brisket themselves didn't have much flavor. The prices are ridiculous if you don't get a family style platter (and even then its still not a lot of food). The sauces were good, and are the only reason this isn't 1 star. I haven't tried many other BBQ places in the DC area, so I'm not sure how this compares to the others around, but compared to anywhere outside of the DC area this wasn't great for the cost.

Outdoor patio has socially-distant seating and heaters. Carryout happens entirely outside and was contactless for me. They always do a good job at Sloppy Mama's!
Absolutely! We have smoked jackfruit. If you’re ordering the jackfruit on its own as a platter type option our normal recommendation is a 1/2 pound per person. If you want a bigger meal go over that, a smaller meal go under that. You can also get it as a sandwich with coleslaw and pickle on it if you like it that way. The sandwich is vegetarian but not vegan as our bread and coleslaw dressing(mayo) have egg in it. For our sides our collard greens and beans both have meat in them, the mac & cheese, slaw and cornbread are vegetarian and the potato salad is vegan.
