Depends on the immigration officer. I do not recommend more than 350 dollars. And nothing fancy also, they can take it from you and keep it for them selves.

Look, I think not and I know that it is the country that gives the fastest papers in any country and there are many Cubans. Many go via Brazil and cross the border through Chuy, which is a dry border and then you will talk to a Cuban who will help you
