Beautiful piece of history and it’s amazing what they have done to keep it preserved. I just say, army dnc is good, but the marines are squared THE F away. We watched several performances from the marine corps band , as well as the very loud cannons. If you get a chance next year to visit when they start those live concerts again next year go .

The evening parade is a must see. Clean movements and great synchronization that takes lots of practice. The President’s Own band and silent drill team are superb and renowned throughout the world.

Closest parking is paid parking on the corner of 8th and I under the 695 overpass. There is also parking at elementary school East of the barracks on 11th St.
You can leave early.
Yes there is. Handicap parking stalls are on the barracks side of 8th street closest to the main gate.
I'm a little confused by your question, but if you are asking if the "Washington Barracks" is also known as this marine barracks, it is most likely a yes. The marine barracks at 8th and I have some very deep history, and is the only untouched building from the British attack.
There are parades every Friday in the summer starting at around 8
Use the link. Make sure to check the dates, times and hours that there will be a parade
Yes
It is always on up to the actual start up time, unless otherwise posted. When they start it doesn't matter if it rains. These are Marines not affraid of a little water.
They perform for the Tuesday and Friday night parades during the Summer Parade Season. The Tuesday night parade takes place at the Lincoln Memorial (1900 hrs) and the Friday night parade takes place at the Barracks (2000 hrs).
