Beautiful piece of history and it’s amazing what they have done to keep it preserved. I just say, army dnc is good, but the marines are squared THE F away. We watched several performances from the marine corps band , as well as the very loud cannons. If you get a chance next year to visit when they start those live concerts again next year go .

The evening parade is a must see. Clean movements and great synchronization that takes lots of practice. The President’s Own band and silent drill team are superb and renowned throughout the world.

I'm a little confused by your question, but if you are asking if the "Washington Barracks" is also known as this marine barracks, it is most likely a yes. The marine barracks at 8th and I have some very deep history, and is the only untouched building from the British attack.
