Took my girlfriend to dinner and it was a disaster. It took us nearly an hour and a half to be seated, an angry customer was berating the poor hostess and when confronted by a member of management threatened to shoot the place up. We finally get seated, there’s no bartender behind the bar, the room was packed and so loud that you couldn’t carry on a conversation with yelling. The appetizer and girlfriend’s food was fine but my brisket sandwich was disgusting. I didn’t bother to have it sent back to the kitchen because I wanted to leave. I understand that the staff can’t control everything and it’s unreasonable to expect but you have to be able to take care of the things that are within your control. This place doesn’t seem to be capable of that. Will not be returning, will not recommend this place to anyone.

We ate here while on summer vacation. We drove up via boat to the dock. We got there at about 5:50 PM right before the dinner rush. We were seated immediately and our waitress got our drink and appetizer order quickly. My group of 6 got everything from a house salad, to a burger, to the Chicken Philly cheesesteak, to seafood combinations. The food was good, but nothing special. The place doesn’t really have a great ambiance. There were flies everywhere and we were constantly shooing flies the entire meal. We were in the air-conditioned area too. We probably won’t go back.

Had a great experience at The Pointe for Easter! This was a halfway point for my wife and I and her sister (who is stationed in NC) and brother-in-law. Met for an Easter lunch and ate outside. Had to order "to go" and just grab a picnic table outside, but we wanted to be outside anyways since we had a dog with us. Burger was good, nothing special, but the shrimp tiki tacos were impressive! Looks like we found a new meeting spot and will definitely be back.

Beautiful location with views of Lake Gaston. Chill vibe and friendly service. Good food for fair price! Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area.
