I would highly recommend Michael Robinett for car accident representation . He is patient , caring, and professional . His calming nature and devotion treating both sides with dignity and respect works surprisingly well in todays world . I could tell the mediating judge appreciated his style and class in contrast to the other side.

Questions & Answers

What is the best way to set up a consultation?

Thomas Simeone | Oct 29, 2019

There are several easy ways to contact us and get an immediate response regarding a potential case. A potential client can call us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If someone calls during business hours, they will immediately speak to someone about their case. If they call after hours, they can elect to reach an attorney immediately or, if they prefer, leave a message and ask to be contacted the next day. They can also visit our website and fill out an online contact form. In both cases, we will immediately respond. Finally, when visiting our website, they can seek a consultation through an online chat. However you contact us, our firm will respond as soon as possible and, again, there is no cost for an initial consultation.

Do I have to come into the office for a consultation?

We are always happy to meet with potential clients – at our office or elsewhere – but that is not necessary. Many clients now review and sign the retainer online or through email. That is very helpful because it allows us to immediately begin work on a case without the need to schedule a meeting. Then, we can meet with the client at a mutually convenient time. Often times, a client never comes to our office – we are able to successfully pursue their case and communicate with them through phone, email and mail. This makes it easy for a client to secure the legal representation they need to obtain just compensation when they are injured.

Do you only take cases in Washington DC?

Our attorneys practice throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. In addition, we have worked on cases throughout the United States, often in association with attorneys located where the case took place. When we associate with another firm there is no additional charge to the client. Instead, the other attorneys share the legal fee with our firm. This allows our firm to take on the case and to also have the expertise of a local attorney familiar with the area where the case took place. This allows us to assist clients with cases across the nation.

Will I have to pay a consultation fee?

Our firm does not charge for initial consultations. We regularly discuss cases with potential clients, review their documents and photographs, talk to potential witnesses, and research the legal issues in a case without any charge to the client. This allows a client to determine – at no cost – whether their case is worth pursuing and the issues they will face if they pursue the case. Often times, our initial consultations are spread over days or even weeks, as the client obtains additional information for us or we research the relevant legal issues. As a result, there is no reason not to call for a free consultation. Moreover, because every case has critical deadlines, clients should contact us as soon as possible.

How much will it cost to hire an attorney?

For most personal injury cases, our firm is paid on a contingency fee. That means we do not require any retainer or payment of legal fees in advance. In addition, we do not bill our clients monthly or for every hour we spend on the case. Instead, we are paid a percentage of the recovery that our clients receive. If there is no recovery, there is no legal fee owed to the firm.
