I went to Lanham family dental for a routine cleaning and was pleasantly surprised to get a bill for an additional $180 on top of the $60 I had paid. After doing a dental consultation, they advised on a special cleaning, which my insurance provider would have needed to approve of. The insurance did not approve, which would have put the cost on me. I was never notified that it would not be covered and before performing the service, it would have been nice to have been asked if I wanted to proceed instead of them just doing it. Its less about the money and more about the principal in dealing in good faith.

Let me start by saying the office is immaculate, clean and very warm. The office staff are friendly and always have a smile to greet you. I cannot sing enough praises for dental hygienist Bessong and Dr. George. They are the most professional and knowledgeable people I've met in the dental industry. I had so many issues with my teeth and gums but they creating a plan to get my gums back in better shape abd it is working! My teeth use to be so sensitive. Now i can eat cold food without feeling my teeth hurting! They are truly the dental dynamic duo!!!
