I’m a 64-year-old fair skinned man with a history of skin cancer and Acne Rosacea/Seborrheic Dermatitis. My background with Dermatologists and doctors in general stretches back decades with very few exceptional outcomes. Two of those occurred during the last seven years at Frederick Dermatology under the care of DCNP Christi Mayberry. The first was literally a life saver, a Melanoma diagnosis. It was during my first visit in 2015 with Ms. Mayberry and she said the mole on my leg “had to go”. That Type 1 Melanoma was removed. Two weeks later, Dr. Dawn performed Mohs surgery to assure complete cancer removal. It’s seven years later under Frederick Dermatology's care and no recurrence. Thanks guys! My second great outcome occurred this week. I periodically experience outbreaks of Seborrheic Dermatitis on my scalp which are aggravating and painful. An outbreak was in full force when I saw Ms. Mayberry on Tuesday. She recommended a treatment and provided samples of a prescription cream, Plexion. I experienced relief almost immediately after applying the cream and I have been irritation and itch free for three days. Woohoo! What was probably a routine visit for Ms. Mayberry has seemingly been a miracle for me. I just want to say thanks to the crew at Frederick Dermatology and call out Ms. Mayberry’s outstanding care for her patients. I am probably alive today because of her and I am grateful to be able to provide this review and recommendation. You can trust these folks to take care of you.

Here's another yes for you. Definitely call for an appointment; it is a busy practice, and you may have to wait a while to get in. My experience is they are worth the wait.
Hi Brenda, We'd recommend coming in to meet with one of our providers in person to discuss the various treatment options and figure out the best fit for you. Ablative lasers definitely have the potential to correct aging and sun damaged skin. Thank you!
Hi Marie, Yes, we offer laser hair removal services, however it is considered a strictly cosmetic procedure so insurance will not cover this. Thank you!
