Great park for bird watching. We saw 30 different species in one morning. Nice paved paths so it is handicapped accessible.

Always a nice walk around the lake. Only negatives I've had is there have been a few questionable people in the parking lot sometimes so be aware of that but never had an issue. There are a lot of people who walk here during lunch and daytime and you can see a variety of birds at times as well. It is a facility that takes stormwater runoff from North of it so you will see trash but the County tries to keep it clean on a regular basis. Overall worth a stop if you've never been.

Questions & Answers

Can I use my kayak there?

Josh, I haven't seen anyone do that, but there are no signs not to. If you walk towards the right path, past the reserve you can find a grass embankment to put in. I go to this lake at least 3 times a week and I was hoping to kayak out there soon as well.
