love love LOVE camping at the back of this park right beside the Wallowa River! it's dry camping (no hookups) but so worth it. you feel like you're in the middle of the wilderness, kinda! just make sure to take down any sun shades or camp canopies at night bc the wind blows through and will rip them down. we've been two years in a row and will definitely be back!

Host is very friendly and there's deer EVERYWHERE! As for the cabin, it's a great place to disconnect. No internet and the wifi barely reaches. The tv is just for DVDs so bring your own. The cabin is outdated but very clean. We had a great visit with friends and my wife loved the endless hot water for 6 people. Please be aware that you do have to bring your own towels, linens, blankets. And bring hand soap for the bathroom. There is also a discrepancy with the pet policy so just know you cannot have a pet inside the cabin or you will get fined. Thankfully we found this out before we brought our pup.

It's very close, just a short walk.
Yes, they do. They do not allow traditional tents that set up on the ground.
There is fishing but have never seen anyone catch anything at "The Park at the River RV Park. The fish are at the lake except when the kokonee come up stream to spawn in Aug and Sept and the is no fishing then but a wonderful nature event to watch
Very close. Across the street.
I'd give them a call. They're great about getting right back to you, if they don't pick up
Not bad for the amenities. Around $40 a night
