We didn't stay here. Beautiful historical building. Tasty drinks with a beautiful back area to sit and view the river

The rooms are comfortable and quiet and a bit rustic. There is no TV, hairdryer or air conditioning. There is a fan however. I gave 3 stars for the service as the front desk person didn't remember us although we were there for a couple of days, and a server forgot some items we ordered. I wish there was a vegan choice but the vegetarian food was good.

This place could be so much better. The lodge needs to be updated and the customer service needs to be brought back from the dead. Nobody seemed to care or take ownership at this place. Every employee seemed to drift through their shifts and didn't seem to care about offering a superior experience. The stay was just so "blah". As for updating the lodge, the handrails on the stairs were horribly weak and wobbly. The light fixture at the landing was about 5'9" off the ground so if you're not a little person you are destined to knock yourself in the head each morning. The sinks and mirrors in the bathrooms were made for Hobbits, apparently. Great water pressure and endless hot water, but the shower heads were mounted at about 5'8" off the ground. If you're 6'0" or above prepare to be annoyed with your stay. No air conditioning, although our room came with 2 fans to help cool us as we slept. Bedside lamps so not have usb for charging. The place is definitely from the past and arguably too much so.

I’ve been an admirer of the Lodge for years. My parents live nearby, so I’ve often gone for dinner and happy hour. Food is alway delicious. The new deck is beautiful! I loved it so much that I decided to get married there. It was a perfect setting! I needed very little decor because it’s already so beautiful. The staff were fabulous. I rented several rooms and cabins for myself, my photographer, and family. It was fun to see the unique designs of each! Would highly recommend the Lodge to anyone considering a trip or wedding at Wallowa Lake.

They have an annual Christmas party honoring Gail Swart, first weekend in December. Tickets are quite limited and go quickly, available shortly after Labor Day.
We got an Airbnb that we can bring our dog.
Not allowed at Wallowa lodge but ok around lake and area.
What would the cost be? We talked with someone earlier and he said you could not accommodate our group at that time of year.
I'm sous chef at wallowa lake lodge. We can seat 60 comfortably and feed efficiently if you call and reserve as early ahead as possible
Better to call the front desk
