We had stayed here this week for a few days while visiting family from Michigan. Our mom rented us one of the cabins (as she resides on the campground with her RV, currently). The cabins were small and quaint. There was a small tv inside to keep us entertained at night, and two beds inside. The cabin was surprisingly cleaner than we had expected (we’re used to musty cabins for camping, and this cabin was well taken care of). There is a public lot bathroom for visitors and residents to share (the cabins do not have a bathroom within them). For a shared/public bathroom, I was shocked at how clean it was kept. The team here clearly has pride in making sure that everything is not only presentable, but also maintained well for everyone involved. While I did not personally have any lengthy conversations with the staff here, the few instances I had spoken with one of the ladies here (I’m not sure if she was an owner, or just managed the campground - I did not ask) was pleasant. She was very friendly in my experience. She was even very understanding of our need to check out our stay a day earlier than anticipated due to my boyfriend having injured himself and our need to head back home to be able to follow up with our local doctor. I’m personally not a big fan of camping, but this campground and cabin experience, and especially the friendly & understanding staff, made my hesitation get put to rest rather easily. I do recommend this location to anyone looking for a nice camping or RV experience.

Super friendly staff and convenient campground. I had booked a couple nights in one of the covered wagons but it ended up being too warm outside - the wagon was very stuffy and has very little ventilation. (I didn’t do my research, as these were NOT the posh wagons of Horse Cave KY KOA that include electricity, beds, and a fridge.) These wagons are just bare floor with optional 1” pad. But like I said the staff was great and in spite of my mistake they were able to upgrade me to a cabin on the spot for extra $. While the cabin was sparse and had a lot of stink bugs (we were used to this at home so I didn’t care), I appreciated the comfy bed and cold AC. Bathhouse wasn’t fancy or anything but had clean commodes & couple of showers. For what they’re charging it’s a great value, but I ended up opting for something less adventurous closer to town for the rest of my business trip.

The place was good for seclusion and rest which was much needed for us, but wifi or nearby restaurant or private bathrooms or modern flooring were not available in the cabins. When you are in the middle of millions of acres of farm you need to appreciate basic things, and that's what you go visit the Amish and Ethridge for! My family loved it and we had cooking equipment to take care of food that we purchased from the Amish and the little refrigerator in the cabin was nice. There are spots for slightly better cell coverage. The museum, horse ridge and Amish food was good and totally with 4 days or so.

I am a travel physical therapist and recently stayed at this campground for approximately 2 months. The staff members were incredibly friendly and consistently went out of their way to ensure all my needs were taken care of. I also had some great neighbors - absolutely no complaints! Amish country is beautiful and I will definitely be back if work brings me through this area again.
