We arrived late on July 6, having reserved a room earlier, based on location and good reviews on the Hotels.com site. Much to our chagrin, we discovered there was no hot water, and the proprietor stated they were out of propane gas, and there would not be water until 7:30 or 8:00 AM, on 7/7, with no offer of a discount or refund. A hit bath is not an unreasonable expectation, when paying over $100 for a room. We were traveling from Louisiana, and had to be in Asheville, NC by noon on 7/7. I understand things happen, and we can't always get it right, but we MUST make it right, if we expect to remain in business.

Friendly staff! Both Carol and Abby were helpful, friendly and efficient. Clean and beautifully rustic decorated rooms. Great continental breakfast. Easy check in and check out. Great price for that area. Will be back.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was easy to check int etc. BUT WHEN YOU TURN THE LIGHTS OFF THEN TURN THEM BACK ON, to go to the bathroom, they do have roaches, we but our belongings in the cAr because I do not want to carry those home. Yes, the bad kind. They need pest control, the employees here did give us another room but it’s not their fault, and I don’t think the different room will change the problem, thankful for the helpful front desk as it is late and no owner present, there is nothing they can do but also where would I go at 11:00pm when this was booked in advance on Booking.com.

Room was nice and I enjoyed the tub in the room. Location was also great. Would be fine if not for ROACHES! Everywhere. Dead and living. Upon entering the room there was a dead baby roach in tub, and a huge dead smashed roach on wall. Also a dead roach smeared on the bathroom door. On top of that we saw several babies crawling on fridge. We brought our own dishes for wine tasting and had to throw away $60 worth of personal belongings due to baby roaches crawling in them. Have fear of them coming home with us in luggage. Also several baby roaches crawling in sink where they serve breakfast. Place is only getting a star because the location is great and the tub is amazing. Get the roaches under control!!!!
