Ordered to go as I had to get back to work. The fried chicken breast was the smallest breast I have ever seen. Overcooked, so it was completely dried out. The macaroni looked dried out as well and tasted so bad I spit it back out. The green beans were fine. Instead of throwing the food away, I bagged it back up and drove back to the restaurant for a refund. That’s how bad it was! The worst part of my experience was the owner’s reaction. I told her I wanted a refund because it was just terrible and she said “Well, you can’t please everyone”. I said, I’ve eaten here before and it was fine but the chicken was so dried out it was uneatable. She said, “We don’t grow our chickens, so I can’t help that”. Terrible response to a customer!!!! I will NEVER be back! The day before me and a coworker had two different desserts, the strawberry something and German chocolate cake. They both were yuck and we both threw them away. My bad for giving this place a second chance!

The place was clean, the food was wonderful, and the server very nice. Our other two breakfast places we normally go to were not open, so we tried this one, and this will become our number one breakfast place. The biscuits were great!

My sister and I had lunch here yesterday. We ordered enough to have dinner as well. We were both very pleased with the food and service we received. She had the fried chicken, mashed taters with white gravy, green beans, slaw and strawberry shortcake. I had the salmon patties, slaw, mashed taters, sweet peas and brussel sprouts. We both had sweet tea. OUR TUMMIES WERE VERY HAPPY!! We will come back by before we head out to go back home..

Menu has a range from country cooking meals, sandwiches, daily dessert offers, and a very friendly staff.

I don't believe they are usually open any day for dinner. Best to call ahead if looking for dinner. I saw an ad in the newspaper recently that the nearby Davis House was now open for dinner but that may only last during the Apple Festival season. I'd call to confirm there as well if looking for dinner opening times.
