I arrived in town with multiple family members that staggered in for an unexpected, tragic family funeral. I cannot say enough how kind, compassionate, and accommodating the owners have been through the chaos and emotions that my family has experienced this past week. The words they spoke and tears they shed with us mean more than can ever be expressed by words. As my trip comes to an end tomorrow, I will take away a renewed faith in humanity. The rooms (we had multiple) were nice and the service was excellent. As someone who typically chooses resorts for vacations, I was not in the least disappointed. Clean, bug and odor free, and the showers were amazing with great water pressure and temperature! Budget Inn will forever be my go to when I come to town!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The lady at the establishment is extremely unprofessional. Prior to leaving the establishment, I gave it 7/10 as we were rushed out of the room when it wasn’t even time to clock out and we’ve asked for extra items for the room which the lady refused to give us . We booked once more and I was asked why I gave the establishment 7/10. I ignored the message via my booking.com account. She later texted my personal phone asking said question, I ignored. Aren’t we all entitled to leave reviews especially if there’s dissatisfaction in something ? Upon getting to the establishment at 12 midnight , I was literally attacked about the 7/10 review I had given. I was talked to disrespectfully and shouted at.My partner had to step in and let her know the way she’s talking to me is unacceptable. She then turned us away at midnight because my partner told her respectfully that she can’t treat customers that way. We later left and found somewhere else where the customer service was better and the folks actually treated us with respect. We were never rude to this lady but her behavior for a business person is atrocious. I would never go back here. Never . Business is business and if someone leaves a 7/10 review which isn’t even bad, find ways to improve rather that treating that person horribly because you don’t want your motel to look bad. The motel is beautiful, the husband has respect and business manners, the lady on the other hand, RUDE, and if this motel goes down, it’ll most likely fall on her. TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT. Respect goes a long way in business.

Nothing at all fancy BUT it's very clean and smells good. The beds are comfortable and the people that own the place are SUPER NICE. They have been very helpful and accommodating.

The owners are very attentive and accommodating people. They are great. They keep the place nice and clean. I'm happy with our stay and glad we chose this hotel. If we come back to Ellijay, this will be our first choice. Honestly, everyone we have met down here are so nice and relatable! I love the south.
