THE WORST COUNCELING PLACE I EVER BEEN TO. I RECOMEND ANY PLACE BUT HERE! HAD ME ON A WAITING LIST FOR 5 MONTHS! I HAD TO CALL AND SEE IF I COULD BE SEEN. I NEEDED DOCUMENTS FOR COURT. THESE PEOPLE ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A HOLD OF. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCONVENIENT. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WORST IN THE CITY HANDS DOWN!!! IIF THERE WAS A ZERO STAR THIS PLACE WPULD GET IT!!!!

We were looking for grief counseling for our son and made an intake appointment two weeks out. My wife and I both took off work and when we arrived counselingABQ had received our intake paperwork but had not actually booked our appointment. I had even received several text messages from their automated system with reminders. When they gave us the bad news they basically said “sorry, I don’t know what happened” and walked away. It was almost as if they were blaming us. We are incredibly frustrated by this because our son needs help and now we have to start the whole process over again calling around town for an opening. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Beware of Amy the children's counselor, I told her an issue I was having with my husband and she took what I told her and twisted it into a straight up lie that has caused my family SO MUCH HARM. Amy is awful and not to be trusted she is a LIAR. I've had so many issues with this place just trying to get my kids the help they need. I would not recommend.

Hello, Counseling ABQ is currently operational through teletherapy. Phone calls are answered remotely from administrative staff working remotely. Counseling ABQ is using a user-friendly, HIPAA compliant version of the Zoom Platform. All new clients will be sent a Zoom link just prior to their intake appointment. Remote administrative staff are available to assist with connection issues. Administrative staff currently works until 4:15 pm.
