Wonderful place with lots of knowledgeable people and the star is the steam locomotive. Hope they get it running on the rails for rides soon.

This tour of the 2629 locomotive was very interesting. The tour guide that we had was very knowledgeable about the train. They do have a little store selling books about locomotives and other trinkets. They said that they were going to run it on the rail tracks sometime soon. I would love to take a ride on this steam engine locomotive sometime. I would also take this little tour of this locomotive again.

Route of approximately 40 minutes. It is by donation. Parking is on the street...excellent for children to learn how this locomotive is being restored for more than 20 years.

Active volunteer member/board member here. We continue to make good forward progress on making 2926 operational again. At this time we don't have all necessary arrangements to make passenger excursions, but are working diligently to make that happen sometime in the foreseeable future. Keep an eye on our site (2926.us) to follow what we are doing! Thanks for the question.

Although the locomotive is operational, we now have to work with all of the city, state, and industry entities to move on to the next phase.
