Gelmarc Towers is a great complex right in the heart of kalarama, near DuPont Circle and Adam’s Morgan. It’s affordable for the area and the amenities are good. I will always say a property manager makes or breaks a residence and Karen Morales goes above and beyond for the residents including myself. She is very communicative and her staff is very helpful. Any issues that may arise, is instantly fixed. I would recommend Gelmarc Towers to anyone. It’s unique in its own way and it’s a great place to live.

Gelmarc Towers has provided a great experience. The Resident Manager, Karen, is extremely helpful and always willing to assist with whatever is needed. She is respectful, kind, and knowledgeable. Similarly, the Maintenance Team is always on top of whatever is happening. Whenever they have been needed, they have been responsive and have worked efficiently to fix any issues. The apartment complex is within walking distance of many restaurants and the Dupont Metro Station. Gelmarc Towers is worth it!

I lived in Gelmarc for a little over a year in a renovated 7th floor studio, and it was the perfect place to start out living in DC - I moved here from abroad. The neighborhood is fantastic and super convenient (loads of restaurant/shopping options within just a 5 minute walk). The current building manager, Karen, is so responsive and helpful, hands down the best building manager I've ever met. She was super accommodating when I was moving from abroad and when I adopted my pet, among other things. On top of that, utilities are included in the rent which is rare to come by! The only downside is the fact that the building is old, which comes with a few issues occasionally, but all maintenance requests are handled quickly, so this is not a big deal in my opinion. Would highly recommend this building to grad students and young professionals in the city!
