Thank you so much for taking such fabulous care of our beloved family members. Everyone is so caring. Debbie went above and beyond to organize the multiple medications that our dog suddenly needed. Thank you.

I really appreciate all Dr Golovyan and Dr Kaplan did for my dog Lola. I was a nervous pet owner, but after seeing how much care the doctors and staff had towards my dog I highly recommend them!

How much is dental care for a 5 lb chihuahua

Leighann Skorzewski | Oct 28, 2020
Animal Clinic of Milford | Oct 28, 2020

Hi Leighann, I presume you are asking about dental cleaning...if we have never seen your pet, we would need to see the pet on exam, from there we can give you a more accurate estimate. If we are talking a routine (no extractions etc.) dental cleaning, with the exam and pre surgical blood work, your looking at around $450-500. Again that includes your examine where we would give you your estimate, and we would take blood for pre-surgical blood work and then would schedule the dental procedure. The dental procedure plus the previous work would be around the price I gave above and it does not include any pain medication, antibiotics or extractions if needed. Dr M

My cat started limping slightly but in the last 2 days she will barely put it down. I'm able to massage & bend & touch whole leg, push her paw down on my hand I don't see or feel anything stuck in there. Just slight swell on middle pad???

Cory Bartone | Oct 28, 2020
Animal Clinic of Milford | Oct 28, 2020

Sounds like your cat needs to be seen, a swollen paw can be many things, such as a foreign body, bite wound abscess, etc, and it sounds like its progressing. Call the front desk tomorrow and we will make room for your cat to be seen! Dr M

I Brough in my dog on 0613/20 because he had blood in his poop. He was checked supposedly, and I was told nothing was wrong with him. On 06/19/20, I had to put him down, he was not able to breath, and was coughing blood. Why?

Niles Mackenzie | Oct 28, 2020

I am sorry to hear that Iris. We are on our third dog in twenty five years with this practice and can say we have never had any problems. I think you need to sit down with the Vet in question and have a talk.

My cat is vaccinated in April every year. Now the epidemic is serious. Can I get the vaccine in advance or in May? Which one has the least impact on my cat?

Cynthia C | Oct 28, 2020
Animal Clinic of Milford | Oct 28, 2020

It is just fine to give the vaccines early, which is what I would recommend so your cat isn’t behind on those vaccines. Dr M

What is the average price for spaying/neutering rabbits?

Delanie Stueber | Oct 29, 2019
Thomas Maley | Oct 29, 2019

Thats an easy question for our front desk team to answer more accuretly if we had your pets weight, but generally your going to pay around $250 give or take. Rabbits can be finicky with eating post surgery, which can add to the cost if your pet needs additional care. Dr M

Do you do xrays and ultrasound? What is the price range for a pitbull

Mariano Rodriguez | Oct 29, 2019
Animal Clinic of Milford | Oct 29, 2019

Hi Mariano, we have digital radiography available in office, the cost depends on the number of views and the boarded radiologists report needed. We also have ultrasound in hospital, depending on what your pet needs, we also have two boarded Internists that travel to our hospital weekly for abdominal ultrasounds and consults, as well as echocardiograms. It would be best to call and talk to a doctor about what your specific need is, keep in mind that we can't make treatment recommendation without an exam, and we are limited in what we can say, without personal knowledge of the health of your pet. we would be happy to have you in on exam and to discuss the specifics and make our recommendations based on your pets medical needs and financial limitations.
