Smart, engaged, committed crowd. Great books and food.

Cozy cafe with good vegan options, except the portion sizes are tiny. My friend's vegan quiche was 1/6 of a personal size pie.

Red Emma’s new location is going to be amazing once finished. i’m so glad i got to see it last night at their first live event, which was an amazing conversation about Dr Treva Lindsey’s latest book, America Goddam. the one and only Dr Martha Jones was the moderator!

Iconic! A Baltimore landmark. Awesome book collection, great vibe, great food!

Absolutely. No self respecting anarcho-syndicalists would run a capitalist enterprise without it
We’re not quite open in Waverly! Hopefully just a couple more weeks.
Hi there! We do have some jobs open at the moment, so the best bet is just to email us at hiring _at_ redemmas.org with your resume or recent work history and a note telling us why you are interested in working at Red Emma's!
I cant vouch for people who go there but the staff supports and is partially made up of LGBTQ folks
Our restaurant is accessible by wheelchair from the patio entrance. Contractors are in the process of installing a lift to make the bookstore downstairs accessible as well...that should happen before the end of 2018 as well!
We are moving to a new (bigger) location, and will be back open early in Fall 2018.
Street parking is available. But note that Red Emma's is now closed for the summer while they move from their North Ave location to their new location at 1225 Cathedral St.
I'm not sure but a excellent place for allethnics and cultures if you are a open mined person
