Awesome modern Library. We really enjoyed performing our Peace Week concert there today.

Just used their meeting room. Didn't enter library. Meeting room nice and convenient just as you entered doors.

Is a very nice library. Well maintained. Plenty of area to sit around if you just want to read. A lot of computers if you need them. They have Wi-Fi access.
Kerry Schroeder
Nice Library with hometown feel.

No just order online and pick up in parking lot
yes
There are a few here, if youd like to reserve one call ahead.
The old yellow plastic one still is required to check out books. You can get it by coming into the library and filling out an application. Make sure you have a photo I.D. with you with your current Delaware address. You can apply online for an account that will give you access to eMedia (e-books, e-audiobooks, streaming movies, etc.). The web address for the online card is lib.de.us/librarycard. Just fill out the registration form and you're set to go.
Newcastle County is not permitting public access to use computers in the library as yet. Kirkwood Staff
We are providing curbside services as well as online services only. Newcastle county has not yet authorized physical access to the library for public. Please visit our Facebook page, web pages, www.dlc.lib.edu and other forums for current information which is updated regularly.
NCC Libraries are currently only open for curbside pickups of requests, and have reduced hours. You can call Kirkwood Library at 302-995-7663 for up-to-date hours.
No fax machine at this location. You can email copies that can be scanned and make copy.
The library (not surprisingly) has a ton of books. If you go to dlc.lib.de.us you can search their online catalog for anything you want.
15 cents per page.
The cost became 50 cents per color page in mid 2017 due to rising toner costs.
