I used to work at a New Balance store just like this and so thought it would be worth the 1hour drive it takes me to get there. The purchasing experience has been excellent, but then I got a bad pair of shoes. Just two weeks after I purchased my last pair, the sole started to separate. Now when I sold these shoes and something like this happened, we'd swap out the shoes and send the defective ones back. That doesn't seem to be the case. They offered 30% of my purchase toward a new pair. I'd had my shoes less than 30 days and they knew that. They reprinted my receipt. My only other option was to keep the shoes and call a phone number for NB customer support. The automated system was for online purchases only. I finally found a web page to submit a claim, but if I have to go online if something goes wrong, I'm going to save myself the 2 hour round trip and just buy online next time. I know these stores are licensed out to local owners, or at least were. This local owner lost a customer.

Karen took exceptionally great care of me! I walked in with a walker - she immediately had a place for me to sit with armrests so it would be easier for me to get up. She then actually "listened" to me, measured my feet, went into the back, and brought the PERFECT shoe for me! I loved it immediately and wore them out of the store. My walking is MUCH better now! Thanks, Karen - we'll DEFINITELY be back!

Thanks for the inquiry. We don't currently have any slip-ons in stock for men. We do carry some velcro styles and there is a new slip-on running shoe that will hopefully arrive before fall, but it's currently on backorder.
