Being part German, I was so excited to find this place! All I can say is that it's truly authentic and reminded me of home. We had the potato pancakes (excellent), potato soup with bread (tasty), Sauerbraten (fantastic) and Currywurst (very good). I was also happily surprised to find Apfelschorle on the menu, which I ordered twice. I struggled with what to order because I wanted to try everything, so you really can't go wrong! Highly recommend this place, the atmosphere and server were great too. Vielen Dank für das leckere Essen! 🇩🇪

Authentic as it Gets, enjoyed our Great Meal served by the Friendly staff. Cool old world German Restaurant. I had the Bavarian Schnitzel and Sourkroutt washed down with a few Liters of Cold Beer! Will definitely be on my list next time I return to Ft Lauderdale

Absolutely delicious authentic German food! Service was awesome and expedite considering it was Thanksgiving day! The ambiance as always FANTASTIC and familiar. I had Zigeuner Goulash! Absolutely delicious! The beer was cold and strong. A very much fantastic experience at Old Heidelberg! Thank you for making Thanksgiving very nice for me!!!

Decided to visit for Oktoberfest. The roast pork shank is amazing. But warning, 2-3 people can eat from it (unless you want to go at it alone and take the rest home for another day). Amazing service. Fresh beer, great atmosphere. Will be returning soon.
