I am grateful for Correct Toes and Dr. Ray McClanahan. I started wearing Correct Toes nine years ago. My terrible bunions did not go away but they did not get worse. A couple of years later, I wanted a 2nd and 3rd opinion. I went to a podiatrist recommended by Nike employees and that doctor literally told me if it wasn't for the Correct Toes, I would have needed surgery. Then I was off for a 3rd opinion. This doctor was recommended by two nurse friends of mine who know the docs in the area. He, too, said if it wasn't for Correct Toes I would have needed surgery. So thankful that I found Dr. McClanahan! During the pandemic, as I was walking, I heard an inspiring tune and started jogging to it. That was three years ago and there was no turning back. I am now 70 and in chemo and thanks to the Correct Toes and the Lems shoe that I learned about from my office visit to NW Foot & Ankle, I am jogging or dancing 3-6 miles daily. I personally believe if it wasn't for the correct Toes and the recommended shoes that enable me to jog and dance, my chemo experience would be a nightmare as predicted. The strength and positive mindset I gain from jogging enables me to tolerate four hours in that chemo chair. I highly recommend Correct Toes and the Primal 2 shoe with the mesh material over the bunion area!

After sustaining a foot injury with pain that didn't subside over time, I found an excellent podiatrist, Dr. Ray McClanahan at Northwest Foot & Ankle. He is an accomplished runner who understands the importance of pain-free movement and has done extensive research on the history and biomechanics of healthy feet. I'm fortunate to have found a podiatrist with years of knowledge and experience who is also a great listener and teacher. He works with runners and other athletes, many with previous reoccurring injuries, who want to learn more about foot mechanics and strengthening their feet (toes, ankles, knees, and body) by wearing shoes that encourage natural foot movement. With proper footwear, time and exercise many injuries can be healed and prevented. I have learned so much and now know I don't have to give up my favorite hobby of dancing. High five and five stars to Dr. Ray McClanahan at Northwest Foot & Ankle.

I've just purchase a set of Correct Toes and then had a short consultation with Northwest Foot & Ankle to discuss sizing of the Correct Toes. I'm hoping that the Correct Toes can help my feet heal naturally so that my hallux limitus does not progress further. The consultant gave me good advice and recommendations for shoes that support healthy toes and feet.

The Doctor is very helpful and understanding. I haven't been the best patient and I didn't do the advised protocol that would make my feet better. I guess I thought that simply wearing the correct toes, and wearing better shoes would do the trick. I found that I should have paid more attention when the Doc gave me instructions. I think I have a good plan going forward. I was neither stretching, nor wearing the metatarsal pads that I was diagnosed with during my initial visit. The Doctor has some nice products that can help my feet and I now have them so I look forward to some real pain relief. Thanks Northwest Foot and Ankle.

They do if the podiatrist you choose accepts Medicare. Our clinic does not participate with Medicare. Hope you feet better. Dr. Ray
