On September 21st, 2020 in the midst of the pandemic, I experienced a devastating loss. My husband called me while I was at a doctors appointment to alert me that our house was on fire. By the time I got home, I was able to witness our property going up in flames. The fire started in our sons room. My husband and son were safe, which is a major blessing. Unfortunately, the damage done to our home due to the fire and water damage was alarming. As I watched the house burning, I wasted no time contacting my insurance agent. While I was on the phone, I saw a few onlookers not from neighborhood vying for my attention. My husband brought one brave soul over who patiently waited until I was done with my call with my insurance agent. After quickly visiting the BBB and Consumer Affairs websites to see if they had any negative or unforgivable reviews, we moved forward with 1800-Adjusters. Mr. Beltran was very hands on from day one. He worked expeditiously to get us into a hotel for a few days and then something a little more permanent while our home was being renovated. The process in itself is very daunting and I can only say that without the assistance of Mr. Beltran and his team, it would have been more difficult. He continues to push to get things done for us as we learn during this exercise that we were under compensated for the work that needs to be done, and though we are still awaiting the final results, I trust Mr. Beltran will continue work ensuring that our home is not the home we saw burn in flames, but a new and improved property that adds value to the community.
