They always provide a great talk and are so generous with sharing their telescopes in viewing the skies.

Very thoughtfully put together presentations, with a chance to learn from people who truly love astronomy, and get a glimpse at what's in the sky through huge telescopes if you're lucky enough to have a clear view! I'll definitely be back!

The folks there were great!! Step right up to their telescope and they'll explain everything!!

Admission is free, but we are reservation only. Reservations are available on a first come first serve basis through our website (uacnj.org). Reservation page also gives all the new procedures.
Bring it up any Saturday night that we have a public program and someone will gladly help you guys with it!
The website to check all information is www.uacnj.org. According to the website, public programs are through October. The current upcoming event is this Saturday 9/29 Northern Lights.
What size is the end? The usual standards are 1.25" or 2". Any 90 degree mirror and lens assembly should work as well as the finder scope too. High Point Scientific has or could direct you to what you need.
You can make reservations for events on EventBrite, but it’s free
Hello, you need to join a local club in order to become an Observer at UACNJ. You can find a list of clubs here: www.UACNJ.org/clubs.php. Once you have joined one of our member clubs, you can go to the volunteer link on our website to find out about becoming an Observer. Thanks for your interest in UACNJ!
We are closed until April 2021.
I figured! Yes, wouldn't mind giving a donation! Was just making sure ☺️ Thank you!
You can go any day anytime but the observatory opens only 8-10m Sat night. Other time u have to park yr car out of the gate and walk a little bit to get there. Very nice n high point. Good for star gazing.
