We had reservations at 8:45and the Lady at the reception desk was rude and impolite for no reason at all, guess she had a bad day. Our waiter was nice but he never brought the single most important part of my dinner experience, my glass of wine. Pizza was OK, but I expected better. Place is really nice and it was a busy day on a Saturday night.

Take the train. Otherwise, you're paying for very expensive parking. Try Spot Hero if you know in advance when you are going downtown.
Eat at Eataly for a quiet date night
Ciao! Yes, we will have normal hours on Memorial Day, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., the second floor opens at 10 a.m.
Yes. You can make reservations online or calling Eataly directly. There's discounted parking if you park at the parking complex on Ohio, just a few feet away from the restaurant/market. You'd have to have the ticket validated
Yes at North Bridge mall parking
And maybe we can meet up there with others ...but reservations could be taken to
Ciao Scott, yes they are open for lunch!

The US locations are Chicago, Boston, LA, and two in NYC.
There also is valet parking. We were lucky enough to find street parking 2 blocks away. Validation parking might be easier.
Usually casual. But it's NYE, so probably a bit more formal.
Yes, but only in the Pizza/Pasta restaurant in the back of the 2nd floor. They serve the authentic napoletana style, brick oven fired, thin crust pizza. You can also get Roman style pizza by the slice at the quick service bakery counter (La Foccacceria on the 2nd floor) wrapped for takeout. The restaurant La Piazza serves full size Roman style pizzas, but just for dining-in, not takeout.
Eataly’s online shop delivers a variety of food items including pasta, meat, extra virgin olive oil, coffee and sweets. Additionally, if you live in the Chicago area you can order your groceries from Eataly through Instacart.
