Employees were friendly, elevator was scary. Bed was too firm for me .I'm 5'5" and had a difficult time getting on the bed it's too tall. The sheet kept coming off the corners of the mattress. Which was a pain in my butt. Continued to struggle with the sheet. Didn't get much sleep. And this was our second room. We had to change rooms because the first room toilet wouldn't flush properly . We were disappointed with our stay.

Won't stay here again. Should have checked the reviews... These problems go back for months and nothing seems to be getting done by management. Even the reviews on Choicehotels . com are bad for this hotel. It wasn't a terrible place to stay. I will say the room was clean and the staff was nice. But the AC had been off for days and was super musty in room. Bed sheets were clean but the tiny bed-spread decorative cover had a white stain streak on it. I hate to guess what it likely was. I just picked it up and threw it on the floor. The mattresses both beds the sides were busted out of. Springs were poking out when you sat on them. One had holes in it. The desk chair was fake leather and you could tell the fake leather covering had been falling off for an extended period. There was no need to leave a chair like this in this room until it got to this condition. Management clearly doesn't inspect rooms as this has been this way for MONTHS if not a year. Management will give a reply to these reviews saying "sorry you didn't like your stay" and we are updating, but looks like they are just patching paint etc. These mattresses and chairs have been worn out for years and no excuse other than them not wanting to spend money to fix. These complains are in MONTHS worth of reviews and just the same reply excuses with no real action. Based on that... I won't stay here again. Simply put there are better managed hotels out there that want your business and aren't full of excuses.

We stayed in a suite. The living room/sofa bed has no air circulation. The AC did not reach this room so it stayed very warm despite turning the unit to 65. Also the tv in the room did not work. Staff said they would have it fixed in the morning and no one I believe actually came to work on it as it did not work still in the afternoon when we returned. The breakfast had very limited choices and with only 1 employee working desk and breakfast it they did not keep it restocked. The second floor hall AC was also out so it was very hot and humid walking to our room which of course when we walked in our room it was also warm. Place was fairly clean but really needs updating.

This facility has obviously been renovated repeatedly over the years with mixed results. Many layers of paint and a lot of it is chipping off; sagging ceiling popcorn; moisture issues in the bathroom; clunky elevator; tiny lobby and “breakfast area”. On top of that the bed was very uncomfortable and I didn’t sleep... and I typically sleep easily. Positives: quiet A/C, plenty of hot water, and clean carpet. Overall I’m disappointed in the Comfort Inn & Suites brand after my stay here and I won’t be back.
