Riding bus #5954 on the 29 from Caldwell back to Montclair was the best ride. The worst ride was riding bus #6431 from Montclair to the Willowbrook Mall. When riding bus #5957 on the 97 within Montclair had very quiet audio announcements. However, from Montclair to East Orange, riding bus #6447, was OK. Bus #6409 was one of the only 2013 models, to have good announcements. Many destination signs are incorrect. For example, I saw the 27F to Forest Hill on Elm Street in Montclair, when that really should have been the 34M to Montclair. Also, I saw the 28 to Montclair State University on Harrison Avenue in Montclair, when that really should have been the 97 to East Orange. When seeing a bus say the 71 to West Caldwell approaching Bloomfield Avenue and Saint Luke’s Place in Montclair was very confusing. I am not sure if it was the 11 or 29. I was also told that at Orange Road and Hillside Avenue in Montclair, someone saw the 94 to Bloomfield Center, instead of the 97 to East Orange.

During Hurricane Ida, my husband and I got stuck outside the garage. All intersections were flooded. Richie and Mr. Hull were very kind in helping us. I'm pregnant and my phone was dying. They found me a charger and let me sit in the break area away from the bus fumes. After the water subsided, we were able to leave. But very happy for their kindness during a crazy storm.
