I was there to drop off my 9 month old Scarlet and a 6 week old Black male kitten that I was trying to take care of. Unfortunately, they were at capacity and couldn't accept anymore cats or kittens. I was provided a list of "no kill" shelters for the East and West Valley's and was suggested to call first because I might run into the same issue. Although, they couldn't accept anymore cats, they were the nicest people and you could tell that they really cared for the ones they already had there. I recommend this place highly!!

Excellent experience at four paws in Peoria. All the staff are wonderful and helpful And very knowledgeable and caring from the time I called to the moment I left the facility. They gave me hope on 4 kittens I want to go to a happy forever home. I'm so excited for the poor little orphan kittens I found and fostered 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐾🐾🐾🐾 Thank you! Thank you!!!

Told me they didn't want the kittens that brought in. Very rude, not polite. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Best facility to adopt a kitten or cat. All the cats are well cared for and looking for a forever home.

They only take cats.
Okay. I'm looking for a girl. Would I need anything for the adoption?
They only take cats. Try All About Animals Rescue
I'm sure they will take them back.
Are all the cats that I take care of currently are all healthy and none of them were disabled
Call and ask them, I know teenagers volunteer but I am not sure of the age requirements.
I am pretty sure they aren't open on Sundays, but I could be wrong! And declawing a cat is inhumane, so most vets won't declaw anymore. Just like if you were to declaw a dog, it's very painful, and should only ever be a last resort. You should try calling them during hours and asking, they might have you do a meet and greet :) I wish you the best of luck finding your furry friend!
I would definitely call and ask if they have room! They are a good rescue!
I think we paid around $125. But please keep in mind what you are getting with this price. My wife and I went about a year ago to adopt after one of our cats passed away. My two year old daughter was devastated and we knew we to get her a new kitty. We went in to take a look around and my first impression was that of amazement. This place is by far the best looking rescue I've ever seen. The cats and kittens are literally housed in complete luxury. It's like a cat Paradise. I was shocked to see just how nice it was inside. There were no individual cages like you see eat other rescues. The cats were housed in massive free roaming open rooms the size of an apartment. The day we went in they had a local special needs group home there playing with the cats and showing them love and compassion. It was so refreshing to see and so very awesome to see this in our community. The rooms for the cats had so much going on in them as well. They had cat condos, special beds and plenty of cat toys.
No it's a cat only shelter
Cats only😻
They are professionals. They will assess your cat's behaviors and work with the cat as necessary. They deal with this quite often.
No, I'm sorry we don't pick up. Contact Maricopa County or the Humane Society for assistance.
There are some cats there that were previously owned and declawed.
Sorry we don’t have any at this time.
I don't work for 4 Paws myself. But when I was dropping off a litter of kittens I was fostering, I did see they had a sickly cat there that looked like they were trying to treat it. . ? I would call them and at least ask. Take it from there ?
Maricopa County Animal Shelter should be able you
They take cats only. Hope you find a home for them.
Call and get on a list
I would call the facility. They have multiple locations. The one in Sun City area is open to public but others are by appointment only.
If you go to 4pawsrescue.org and look at the support tab it has information on donating and the wishlist for the shelter.
They will move on to where ever there's food but if there's kittens try and keep them with the mother for survival, All of the cats will eventually go to the hand that feeds them or they will find another food source
Yes they are looking for a fee. Last time we got a car we paid $75. If you get a car it will have all necessary shots & spayed or neutered & a chip. It's worth the money. It would cost you up to $360 just for spaying and neutering at a popular vet down the street from me. If you get a Sr cat you pay the fee & any future vet expenses are free. I believe it is eight years ago or older for the Sr. We have one & he's 14 & doing very well. It's a winner for all. I highly recommend it. Great progeam.
I have a rabbit that my boyfriend who has recently passed on rescued a few months back on the road she is deformed and is very scared of people but she was doing really well until recently she got really sick you couldn't really tell but one day I walked in and saw her and she looked dead although she had a shallow heartbeat and she still does I'm moving and can't bring her with me is there a place that anyone knows that will take her and help her or should I find a place that would put her down I don't know if she's suffering and I don't want that I love animals way too much
Give them a call at 623-773-2246 in the morning & someone will tell you what to do to find out.
Yes
Yes! They will accept cats in need of help. The unique thing about this shelter is that it's no-kill, and one of the best place a cat could stay.
Yes, just go over during business hours
You would have to call them for information
Check with 4paws thrift, rescue in Youngtown they might know.
They only take in cats, try looking at Sun Valley Animal Shelter!
Try sun valley shelter, check with 4 paws shelter also. If they can't they may be able to give you names of someone who will.
I do believe Four Paws well I hope you catch them but they will not take them somewhere else and leave them I believe they to catch and release spay and neuter for cats but as far as trance catching them and transporting them somewhere else and releasing them they do not do that it's against the laws in Arizona and city laws now you could possibly catch them yourself and then take them to the Arizona Humane Society where they would either be adopted out or euthanized I hope this information helps you thanks
If they can't do it there's other rescues out there that can like lost our home small animal you know there's so many other ones that will have the room for the kitties or they might tell you to go somewhere else or they might be able to Foster it till date our adopted sometimes they go to foster homes so aawl has cats and they take a man Arizona Humane Society has cats they take them in you just got a call around sorry that you have to give your fur baby up
Try posting on Facebook's LostCatsofArizona and Straydar. Put a picture in the post, if possible. Also, check with Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. Good luck!
You or someone else will have to bring the cats to them.
Yes, I voluteered there before, they always need people.
I would call and make sure this location has room to take the cat.
Take them there as soon as possible. I believe thry open at 10 am
I am looking for a dog 20# or less, about 2-3 years old that would do well in a condo community.
This is a very good Cat Resue only, hope that answers your question. ☺

Can you catch the kitty?
Call 4 paws on Tuesday during business hours 10-3, we can answer your questions and help.
Was the cat adopted from 4 paws? Give us a call so we can get you some information.
I am sorry about your dog, but we are a cat only facility. You could check Sun Valley Shelter. I wish you luck.
Do u have eney Siamese cat for adoption I would love to adopt one
Sorry! I got nothing... Also I really don't think that the places where you're seeking help from are capable of finding homes for all of them.... So, although I'm sure you might not be crazy about this Idea because you were not the cause of it all... You and hopefully a few more of your neighbors will need to implement a catch and release committee among yourselves where all of you catch a few cats at a time, fix them and release them. Everyone will have to pay a small amount towards the spade and neuter process. Kinda like DUES. So the only way to fix your problem is to do it amongst yourselves... For, if you don't, it'll only get worse with time.
no, they are not associated with the Humane Society
4 paws takes in surrendered pets, there is a fee in addition they'll need to be tested. At this time we are full. I believe most shelters have similar regulations, you can do a tnr (trap neuter and release), which is the best option so they dont keep having more kittens. If you call we can give you phone numbers to help you in your situation. Hope this is helpful.
My heart goes out to you. My experience with them was unpleasant. I am a senior disabled woman who was looking for a companion cat. I told them this at the beginning that I would not be able to care for a cat with extensive medical needs.. They said if the cat was sick I could bring it back. I love cats so much. I adopted one of their cats that turned out to have a sever breathing problem. When I brought the cat back I was treated very unkindly. When I called their main office to check on this policy I was told I should hide my disability. I cried for days over this cruel treatment. A friend who drove me over to take the cat back had to intercede and tell them to not be so hard on me as I was crying. Cats matter alot but so do people. Guilt tripping me and judging me was not fair and very unkind at such a difficult and painful time for me. I would never adopt from them again or recomend them to anyone due to my personal experience. Churches have bulletin boards to help .
so if i am 16 years old my parents would need to be there for the whole thing?
Yes. Volunteers need to fill out an application form. Minors will need a guardian to sign for them.
We only have cats at our facilities
I'm not positive but I think the humane society will loan out a trap. I'm thinking your vet might have suggestions as well.
