what a joke. went to Dr for hurt shoulder. told her I couldn't wait for the appointment so I went to a chiropractor and bla bla bla. She insulted the chiropractic profesion and then didn't even touch or look at the shoulder. told me since I'm moving out of state n 3 weeks there's nothing she can do and set up x-rays. The chiropractor did x-rays had me come back the next day then adjusted me based on what he found and had pain reduced in 2 day. VA doctors don't care and don't do anything to help te vets that come in. your lucky if there eyes leave the computer

I took my 83 year old father to the VA clinic today and had a terrible experience. We had to take VA transportation because dad is wheelchair bound and we do not have a wheelchair accessible van. When we arrived dad had almost slipped out of his chair and the driver went inside to get help. Someone from the VA Clinic came out and said his supervisor said they legally were not able to help. All we needed was help lifting dad back into his chair, but they would not help. The guy said that we needed to call 911 to get an ambulance to come help (he could not call for us because he did not have his cell phone on him). By now my dad's legs were hurting from being squeezed between the front seats so all we (the driver, myself, & a very nice man who had been passing by and stopped to help) could do was pull the wheelchair out from under him and lay him on the floor of the transport van to wait for the ambulance. The VA staff did not offer him a blanket or a pillow, I had to ask for those. And the blanket they brought was about 1 1/2 foot by 3 foot. Common human decency and compassion should be to help the 83 year old man falling out of his wheelchair, but apparently VA staff have no decency. If I could give 0 stars I would.

No
I do not believe so, I was referred to the main VA hospital.
