For our trip, this location was very convenient because it was near an office. However, for a vacation to see sights, it was very far from the downtown area. The rooms were well kept, but there was a noticeable smell in the halls of cleaning supplies. The service was very good and the staff was very kind and helpful.

Update to my previous review. This used to be the perfect local hotel. However, now it is in need of a very deep clean and renovation. Rooms do not smell or look clean, tv didn't work for us and we were told it wouldn't be repaired until after our check out date. Even the lobby smelled terrible. We checked out and were refunded our stay. This used to be our go-to when visiting family, however sadly, our last two attempts to stay have caused us to seek more clean and suitable lodging accomodations.

I stay here quite often and the rooms are always clean. The customer service is great. I love the fact that pets are welcome (free too!) If I have a complaint it would be that the wifi could be better. *****I really like the La Quinta Returns program and that even veterans can get the military discount and can get bonus points and I get free stays regularly.
