I came here this morning and could not believe the way they treat you here. The attitude towards me was so unprofessional from the yt lady, I think her name was Linda. She didn't look at me as she barked, this is only a one time thing here, as she scurried to the back. I'm guessing you're not allowed to go get what you need, because she just left me standing up front. She returns with a box full of dented cans, peanut butter, which my grandson is deathly allergic too. She never asked how many people were in my household, she just threw some stuff in a box, and opened the door for me to leave. Going thru this box, so much that could not be eaten, the peanut butter for one, canned meat, the mac and cheese, the energy bars with nuts. I was so livid! at least ask is there anyone with any nut allergies before shoving anything in a box. People come here, they are already hurt, broken and humiliated, and may have a bit of shame, then get there to this place to be kicked while you're already down is unbelievable. No compassion was shown, just the most unprofessional place to go to, Thank God for healing so I can return back to work, cooperate really needs to fire them all, and start with people who care and have a heart for people that are already in a tuff situation. Hire people that know how it feels to be on the other side of the door, that knows what its like to stand in the line for food to feed their family. Such a disappointment. The employees in the front office give this organization a bad name.

I WAS SENT FOR A JOB ON THE WAREHOUSE FLOOR, THE AFRICAN AMERICAN SUPERVISOR THERE IS EXTREMELY NASTY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. AND SEEMED TO BE DISORGANIZED. TURNOVER IS VERY HIGH. I WON'T BE GIVING ANYMORE DONATIONS THAT'S FOR CERTAIN. NOT AS LONG AS HE'S THERE ANYWAY.

Very kind people. If you are down on your luck or the inflation has hit you hard and you need a little assistance with some food this is the place to go.

Yes you can get food from different food banks and still get food from 2nd Harvest as well...also go to Urban Ministries in 28305 off Robeson, they will help with many things besides food!
The only time they give out food to the public is on the 2nd Saturday at 9. All other times they work with other agencies.
Well you have to do is contact them and they will see you up for food pick ups or delivery
You go threw a line they give you a buggy to push then as you go through the line their volunteers give you what they have in each station. Like Friday everyone got up to 4 gallons of milk you don't have to take all 4 if you don't need it. A 10lb bag of potatoes, canned BBQ, a 5 pound pork loin, canned veggies, fresh fruit, rice, alot of good stuff.
They gladly accept all donations...meat in any variety is always in need.
Hey!!! Yes you can Susan is there a way that I can talk to you to tell you something
Yes it is...
Hi Jamie, the website has a list of food pantries with their operating hours so you can chose the one closest to you: https://hungercantwait.org/find-help/find-food/
Find out what days of the month that the food bank does the free food. Some churches will help you get assistance with the food bank.
No, next Saturday at Mt Sinai. Good morning.
I d required
That is correct. Some churches come to Second Harvest to pick up donations and provide those donations to the members or people in the community. Also this week, Second Harvest is having a Produce Market on July 13 from 9am to 11am. Get there early, it gets crowded.
Call and ask please
No
9-12, 2nd Saturday of each month, unless there's a holiday or bad weather.
You don't need your id all they ask is how any is in house hold how many kids and is anyone disabled and you have bring your own bags
You. Do nothing to give your income. This place distributes food to food pantries. Go to their site and click on the need help app and put in your zip code. Call first to make sure these churches are still doing food pantries.
You can call them. Sometimes they give out on Fridays.
It says they'll be open from 8-4:30
With it being near the holidays I would definitely call them first and get instructions from them. Also there are smaller food banks such as the Fayetteville Urban Ministry that helps with food on a smaller scale. I would also call before showing up.
Contact Ms. Cortez at Second Harvest.
I believe it's going to be Thanksgiving weekend, on Saturday morning after 9am.
Produce the second Saturday of every month
I.d.
You have to go in and tell them your situation. It is better to get paperwork from the church and than go to 2nd Harvest Food Bank.
They give out food on the second saturday of each month. You can call them if you need immediate help to ask for food now The time is 10-12

We do not distribute food to the public. However we can give you a referral to Catholic Charities and the name of an agency in your community. We also have a commodity give a away twice a month, the next one is September 27 from 10-noon. We also have a commodity give away the 2nd Saturday of each month.
Our church or Centro hispano 4475 Cumberland road will be donating food the second Saturday from 11 to 12
If they are asking for identification, your driver's license should suffice. It's only a food bank, not social security. if you don't have any North Carolina identification or driver's license, you can do so at your local NC DMV.
You can contact them to be sure, but on every 2nd Saturday of the month there is a great give away of foods.
Call and get the hours of operation and go fill out paperwork get you food
