My mom loves living at Brookdale Club Hill. The staff is very friendly and helpful. She’s made many new friends.

My mom under 24 hour care at home. She called this facility to and convinced them she could live on her own. She lived in the Assisted living unit for 9 days the evening of the 9th day she begged the night nurse to call an ambulance because she thought she was having a heart attack. The night nurse refused to call an ambulance and didn't call me. In the morning by the time the head nurse checked on my mom she was in full heart failure and never recovered. According to the cardiologist at the hospital, if the night nurse would have called the ambulance she would have had a fighting chance to live longer, because the hospital could have stabilized for her surgery. Since they waited 6 hours to take her to the hospital it was to late and they were never able to stabilize her for heart surgery. She passed 3 weeks later at the heart hospital due to complications of heart failure. I will forever regret trusting them to care for my mom. Now I owe an additional $2400 because she only lived there for 10 days.

My mother in law absolutely loves this community! She’s had previously lived in a place where there weren’t many activities and the food was hit or miss. Now she is part of a painting class, sewing class and other activities. And she loves the food! She has also met many friends and become so much more active and happy! The staff takes such excellent care of her and the residents. The activities director is so engaged and comes up with the most unique experiences and outings for them. My husband and I trust that she is WELL taken care of at Brookdale Club Hill!

My mother and father lived here for several years. They had great amenities and services my parents really enjoyed in the beginning. But once they begin to decline things changed. The one thing I want people to know is they were robbed three separate times. After the first time they replaced what they could. They made a report to the police but beyond that Brookdale did no internal investigation. It was an inside job there was no breaking and entering but none of the employees were investigated. Or shall I say there was nothing reported to my parents. After my father past my mother was robbed two more times taking what they had replaced the first time and other antique rings and watch that had great sentimental value to my family. Again Brookdale did nothing. This ended up being several thousand dollars worth of jewelry stolen. The subject of installing a safe after everything was gone was brought up, but one was never installed. I do not wish this on any other person. This place is not as safe as you may think.
