The office staff is awful. I checked in 20 minutes prior to my appointment time with Angel. I waited an hour for labs. And were being taken back at rapid speed. I followed up with Angel at reception and the other receptionist. They literally would look at me when I was asking questions and say hold on we are checking and refuse to Answer questions. After 5 minutes of looking clueless, and ignoring my questions about what was going on, I saw Angel print out my order. No apology. No acknowledgment of his mistake. He clearly did not care. After pressing several times they finally tell me that they don’t know what happened and that it was the lab’s fault. Again, no apologies. I go back to the lab and ask the staff what the problem was, and shared that the front desk area blamed the error on them. They notified me that Angel failed to put my order in so they had no idea I was waiting over an hour. After my labs were drawn, I spoke to the office manager Patricia, who had nothing to offer. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Competent staff need to be hired. They don’t care about their patients.

I spoke with Mitch who explained to me that Dr Brown Discriminates against Patients who are 56 and older!! That is AGAINST the LAW according to The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act Under the Civil Rights Act of 1964, it is illegal for a healthcare provider to deny a patient treatment based on the patient's age, sex, race, sexual orientation, religion, or national origin. I will Contact Dr Brown’s Office and The Head of Staff of Internal Medicine to File a Compliant and I will File a Compliant with the Texas Board Of Medicine tomorrow!!!

Do not contact this office for care if you are military. Staff was extremely rude I have never been refused care due to being covered by the military.

I recently switched to Dr.Brown as my primary care and I’m so glad I did. She is very smart and the way how she does her well visit is amazing. She have you get labs before your visit with her so she can discuss labs on your well visit unlike most docs I have went to draw labs on the day if your visit and nurse calls you after visit and tells you what lab results are. She personally goes over every result with you and explains it in detail. I’m glad she is my new primary and I feel like I will be in good hands with her.
