My wife, Emily Harrell, is now living in The Cottage at West Fork. I am thrilled that our personal caregiver knew of this facility and directed us here. The entire staff is wonderful and the care is much better compared to a facility in Fort Worth. West Fork truly cares for their residents and provides a daily schedule that is very good for the resident. We are very happy with our decision. Gary Harrell

My mother just moved to Texas from Florida and I needed to find an assisted living center close by. I WAS and AM so impressed with this place! Everyone of the staff members are truly courteous and Texas friendly! All of the residents my mom and I have interacted with have been so friendly and truly seem happy living there. The place is spacious and open and offers so many activities to keep everyone active and happy. I feel truly blessed that I found Westfork and I’m sure my moms last chapter of her life will be one of love and happiness and friendship. Thanks to all I have dealt with getting my mom situated ! Bless you all!!

I previously worked at this place hoping to gain some experience prior to applying to Nursing school and I have to say I am extremely unimpressed with how things go behind closed doors at this place. It is a beautiful place with the kindest of residents. However, working here for a week and I never expected to be so overly exhausted. When call-lights are going off left and right, it makes it almost impossible to get your regular services done. I watched my coworkers be over worked and not be treated fairly. The management said they were "meeting their ratio" but I see caregivers including myself work in the kitchen and taking trash and it is "non-negotiable and if you're not, you will be written up". We are also not allowed to leave until trash is pulled. Legally, once my shift is over, its over and that includes everyone. No one should be staying after their shift because shift change takes 30-40 min. My shift was from 1:45-9:45pm and there were times I did not leave until close to 11pm. Not to mention sometimes caregivers are so busy that they don't have time to take a 30 min lunch break. The job description said "light housekeeping as needed". One of my co-workers had a family emergency, she wasn't allowed to leave until certain things were done. No job owns you. My granddad lived in an assisted living, they had a director of Nursing there, they had a good amount of housekeepers, kitchen staff, and caregivers, and med techs. That is how an assisted living should be operated. caregivers and med techs should only be working with residents, I get being a team and helping out. However, no one should be doing other peoples jobs everyday. I think the residents also knew how overworked we were. I enjoyed working with the residents, grateful for the people who trained me and the co-workers that were honest with me about how they feel about working there as well. But I would never recommend anyone to work at this facility, I hope things change at that place for the coworkers benefit.

Your caregiver Misty Kinney made a tiktok spewing false information. Her tiktok stated she lost 345+ people to the COVID vaccine at this facility. What kind of facility are you running that allows this?
