Covid testing for AISD is ridiculous. Instead of remaining in your vehicle for testing, they have it set up for everyone to come in and wait in line. No social distancing. They only test students and staff. Then your student can't return to school until the result is in, which is fine when they had rapid tests. They ran out of rapid tests and now only have the tests that have to be sent off. Result can take as long as 5 days. What's the point of everyone in your household can't be rapid tested. Everyone just keeps passing it back and forth. No masks in school. No social distancing. As per the AISD website, there are over 1,000 positive students and staff but refuse to close because they don't want to lose their state funding. Pfft.😐

They denied me for summer school, when they have stated that everyone is allowed.

Amazing school district. AISD has high expectations and makes well thought out decisions.

Gone way down hill. My oldest son at times will not be allowed in zoom meeting or class. When email teacher get told will it was open not my fault must be something wrong on your end. When I take pictures of him and time he get on zoom meeting and prove to teach same response. I have emailed both principles and district no response. Call nothing the school district is a joke

Contact the Administration office.
They closed at 4pm
As far as we know, yes. AISD has allowed for parents to pick one of either, On-Campus or Online learning. Parents can switch during the school year. Registration is open right now. In this ever changing climate, however, things are likely to change. How will they accomplish On-Campus learning? That will be difficult and different.
No. No school for 2 more weeks.
This would be a perfect time to call the school district, and see if you can in-fact continue enrolling in the school district.
As with the other post, contact the school district to work out a location, and for them to see exactly how you can still enrole, Also. It is recommended that you do not reveal ur address.
At their own local school. Contact the main office, or coach. They'll help you from there.
